Methodology
How public website signals become a GEO Readiness Score.
Rule engine
Rules check objective signals such as HTTPS, robots.txt, sitemap, canonical tags, noindex, readable HTML, titles, headings, schema, and crawler access configuration.
Semantic checks
Structured semantic rules judge entity clarity, content helpfulness, answer readiness, citation readiness, and trust signals. They return evidence and confidence; they do not set the final score directly.
Score engine
The total score is calculated with fixed category weights so the same input, fetched content, and rule version produce the same score.
Limits
The method does not prove that an AI system will cite, rank, recommend, or mention a site. It shows whether sampled public pages expose the signals that make discovery, understanding, verification, and reference easier.
